Tyra Penn and Her Army of Snakes (very different jazzy/folkish/Tom Waits kind of music) performs at Nicks Millbury St Worcester Thursday July 1st 9pm Tyra sings with a great cast of players, a.k.a. the snakes. Great venue with superior beer selection, and German cuisine.
Thur July 15th 6:30-8:30pm Elm Park (rt 9, Park Ave & Highland St Worcester) bring a lawn chair & picnic, great park for a great concert series!
Sat July 17th at Sahara (voted as write in for Worcester's best new music venue!!!) 143 Highland Street. great Mediterranean food, nice bar, dance floor, fun place! we'll be back here on the 3rd Sat of each month with Kevin Aucoin on sax
and for those who remember Little Red ( Ann Souza) ~she's back this summer for a Little Red & The Riders mini-tour.... Fri July 23rd noon to 2pm "Out To Lunch" at City Park Plaza (behind city hall) and that night at Vincent's 49 Sufolk St, Worc with Neal McNanna on sax,and Sat July 31st at Sahara 143 Highland St Worcester . Joined by Jim Heffernan on piano, Rick Petrilli on drums, Dan & Gail Hunt on guitar & bass, and Ririka & Hiro on sax and trumpet (at City Hall )
